We are currently revising our strategy on providing reference information for Europe. These pages have not been updated but most of the content is still useful.  Please go to ESDIN pages and EuroGeoForum for updated information. The ESDIN project is our main effort to realise INSPIRE directive and EuroSpec.

EuroSpec is the overarching structure to the many EuroGeographics activities which together contribute to the achievement of our vision of full interoperability of the Reference Information produced and distributed by the National Mapping and Cadastral Agencies (NMCAs).

EuroSpec is thus the collective contribution of the NMCAs to building the European Spatial Data Infrastructure (ESDI), in line with the concepts of the INSPIRE directive.
