WFD

On 23 October 2000, the "Directive 2000/60/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council "establishing a framework in the field of water
policy" or in short the EU Water Framework Directive (or WFD) was adopted.
This new European Water Policy aims to get polluted waters clean again, and ensure clean waters are kept clean. More information can be found on the WFD website:
Evaluation of EuroGlobalMap
The International River Commissions and their member countries have evaluated our 1:1 million topographic dataset EuroGlobalMap. The Rhine, Elbe and Oder River Commission have already a signed contract for the use of EuroGlobalMap. The Danube River Commission is currently deciding on it.
