Environment and Nature Planning Bureau

Ongoing processes of urbanisation and urban change, often directly related to developments in infrastructure, Availability of green areas in citytransportation and mobility, dominate spatial change. This is particularly true in the economic core areas of the EU. Emerging urban forms and mobility flows have major environmental consequences.

The Environment and Nature Planning Bureau in The Netherlands is using the EuroRegionalMap product as part of their EUrbanis project, trying to assess the quality of life given current and future urbanisation patterns.
