There are some immediate targets related to the aims in section 2 to be discussed and agreed very soon. The rest of 2006 will, as indicated in part 1 of the work plan, be focused on coming to an agreement of a Pricing and Licensing Model for EuroRegionalMap.
A more detailed work plan will be discussed when the group is established. A draft work plan for the Business Interoperability Group to be decide:
Part 1 -> December 2006
- Organising the Group
- Agree and distribute the parts for the individual activities
- Finalise the pricing and licensing model for EuroRegionalMap
- Discuss a harmonised Pricing and licensing model for EuroGeographics products.
Part 2 -> October 2007
- A market analysis of the trends of development for applications for geographic information
- Analyse what is needed to gain interoperability between EuroGeographics’ products
- Involve the VARs with reference to assessment of the market, new applications and a maximising of the use of EuroGeographics’ products and services.
