EuroBoundaryMap - Prices

Prices | Licenses | Comments | Buying EuroBoundaryMap

EuroBoundaryMap v4.0 is licensed on an annual basis (not perpetual) for a usage right to the data. The minimum license period is 2 years.

The dataset will be delivered as standard in ESRI's Geodatabase format but other formats also can be delivered on request.

An additional internet license can be purchased for the same price annually as a single user license.

Handling charges

Orders of less than € 1,000 will be subject to a handling charge of 150 €.

Intranet/Extranet license

The EuroBoundaryMap product should be installed to one server within the internal network. Network users are not allowed to load EuroBoundaryMap data on their local machine. For prices on Intranet/Extranet license, see table 4.

Internet license

Internet user must have usage rights to the product i.e. the user should obtain the license for single or multiple use. In addition to the usage license fee, the user should pay the fee for the use of the EuroBoundaryMap product in a web-GIS engine.

The fee for using EuroBoundaryMap for Internet purposes is an additional single user license fee.

Important notes for use of the product on the Internet:

  • It is not permitted to make the vector data available for download
  • Any mapping being transmitted to clients from the web server must be in raster rather than vector form.
  • Obligatory information about copyright of the original EuroBoundaryMap data on the website.
  • Authorisation for EuroGeographics to check the number of hits on the webserver.

  • Denmark includes Greenland and the Faeroe Islands
  • France includes Guadeloupe, Martinique, Guyane, Réunion and Monaco
  • Italy includes San Marino and the Vatican
  • Liechtenstein is not individually available but has to be ordered together with Switzerland
  • Portugal includes Azores and Madeira islands
  • Spain includes the Canary Islands and Andorra
  • EuroBoundaryMap EU27+EFTA consists of Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech R, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Northern Ireland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and The Netherlands
  • EuroBoundaryMap EU27 consists of Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech R, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Northern Ireland, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and The Netherlands.
