First release of National Height Data in Europe  is now available

EuroDEM v1.0 is a digital representation of the ground surface topography of Europe. EuroDEM describes the distribution of terrain or 'bare Earth' heights, not including 'first surface' elevations such as vegetation and man made structures. Coverage: The 27 countries of the European Union, the 4 EFTA countries as well as Croatia, Kosovo, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, FYR Macedonia, Moldova and the Kaliningrad area.

Quality A grid of 2 arc seconds (approximately) 60m at the equator, E/W dimensions vary according to the latitude) with a vertical accuracy of 8 to 10 metres. Structure and geometry The product can be represented as a raster or as a triangular irregular network. Prices & Licenses

EuroDEM is licensed on an annual basis and a  minimum license period of 5 years.

European Regions: EuroDEM is offered in 4 European Regions with overlapping countries for making a natural limit of a region. EuroDEM is not offered for individual countries. In that case you are referred to contact the National Mapping Agency.

Internet license

In addition to the usage right fee there is an additional fee for non-commercial internet viewing. The internet fee is 50% of a single user license fee.
