Fundamental and legal metrology
Provides the national standards for the legal units
of measurement
administers the cadastre of real estate of the whole
territory of the Republic
produces the topographic and cartographic infrastructure
of the whole territory of the Republic
provides ground related data for applications on Geoinformation
Systems by remote sensing
topographic mapping and cartographic elaboration on
different scales and thematic issues
produces aerial photographs for surveying and documentation
keeps an archive of aerial photographs with a stock
of 400.000 images
keeps an archive of historical maps and charts
SERVICES:
Verification and calibration service in the fields:
length and dimensional quantities, mass, time and frequency,
acoustics, electricity, ionising radiation and radioactivity,
thermametry, photometry and radiometry, flow measurement,
pressure, force and hardness.
Basic Data - Georeferenced topographic & cartographic
models, aerial images, orthophotos
Real Estates - Informations derived from the Real Estate
Database
