	Role/mission	The National Mapping and Cadastral Agency in Hungary is represented by a governmental civilian organisational framework acting under the supervision of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD). It consists of the Headquarters (Department of Lands Mapping, DLM MARD), the Institute of Geodesy, Cartography and Remote Sensing ( FÖMI ) and the network of land offices (20 County-level and 120 District-level land offices). The Hungarian NMA is responsible for establishing, maintaining of and supplying data from the geodetic control networks, topographic maps of selected scales, large scale base maps including the cadastral ones, land registry and remote sensing.
