INSPIRE KEN Webinar Meeting

The INSPIRE KEN is holding a Webinar Session about cloud architecture on October 2nd from 10.00 to 11.30. Please register if you wish to receive the Webinar link and participate. 

The Webinar will be based on a presentation by Cédric Moullet working at Swisstopo and will address items such as :

• What is a cloud architecture?
• The context, the reasons to choose cloud architecture
• The way cloud architecture may be implemented
• The assessment of cloud architecture, e.g.
  • What can be done with cloud architecture / what cannot be done?
  • Advantages/drawbacks, cost-benefit analysis
  • Main issues met
  • Lessons learnt, advices to organisms wondering if they should adopt cloud architecture or not
  • Relevance of cloud architecture in INSPIRE context
  • Feed-back from users

The presentation will be followed by questions and discussions.
