More than 60 participants from 18 countries attended the second ESDIN stakeholders meeting on 3rd February 2010 in Paris. Stakeholders and users so as interested GI experts received an overview of the ESDIN team achievements after one year of the project implementation, including the demonstration of the prototype services . During the meeting and the breakout sessions a lot of questions has been raised, the discussions brought a number of issues and comments which has to be considered. By the closing of the meeting Antti Jakobsson, EuroGeographics Programme Manager, responsible for the ESDIN project implementation summarized: "A lot of work has been done, but it's clear that we are on track, we have to follow our vision and our plan and with the active contribution of our stakeholders, users, data providers and GI experts we can deliver what is expected. We will continue in our efforts and we are looking forward to hear the opinions, proposals and suggestions of the geo-community in the EuroGeoForum".
