This information system about coordinate reference systems is a common initiative of EuroGeographics, the IAG Subcommission for European Networks (EUREF) and the Bundesamt für Kartographie und Geodäsie (BKG).
The National Mapping and Cadastral Agencies (NMCAs) provided the information for the description of and transformation parameters between the national Coordinate Reference Systems and the European Coordinate Reference System ETRS89.
